N3952 contact closure converter provides the ability to convert 4-ch bidirectional or 8-ch unidirectional contact closures to 1-ch RS-232 / RS-422 data. It can provide long distance transmission of 4-ch bidirectional or 8-ch unidirectional contact closures via working with other Fiber Optic that perform the function of data transmission.
Modular in design, the N3952 series can be rack-mounted or used as stand-alone module. Rack mounting requires the N3910 series subrack. Stand-alone module is accomplished with N3910-1S and can be placed on a desktop or mounted to a wall.
